Creamy, perfectly sweet and easy to make. We are pretty sure that you guys are going to LOVE these truffles. They only require dark chocolate, coconut milk and powdered sugar. The coating is optional, we used cacao powder, finely chopped almonds and licorice powder.

This recipe serves 8 medium-sized truffles. Ingredients: - 200 g dark chocolate - 100 ml coconut milk (well-shaken) - 2 tbsp powdered sugar - 1 tsp vanilla sugar (optional) Ideas for coating: - Cacao powder - Finely chopped nuts - Licorice powder Instructions:
1. Place finely chopped chocolate in a medium-sized mixing bowl. It's important that the chocolate is finely chopped so it will melt easier when mixed with coconut milk. 2. In a separate mixing bowl, add coconut milk, powdered sugar and vanilla. Microwave until very warm but not boiling - about 20-25 seconds. Alternatively, heat in a small saucepan over medium heat until it just starts to simmer. 3. Immediately add the warm coconut milk to the chocolate and cover it with a plate to trap the heat in. 4. Do not touch it for 8 minutes. 5. Then lift the cover and use a spoon to gently stir. Try not to incorporate air. 6. Continue stirring until completely melted. NOTE: If you still have unmelted pieces left, you can microwave the mixture in 5-10-second. 7. Set the mixture in the refrigerator to chill uncovered for about 2 ours. 8 it s done when you can put a knife into the middle of the bowl and it comes out mostly clean. 9. Once firm, prepare a small dish of cacao powder (or any other powder of your choice) for rolling. 10. Then use a tablespoon-sized scoop or a tablespoon to scoop out small balls. 11. Use your hands to gently but quickly roll/form the chocolate into balls. 12. Roll them in cacao powder (or something else). 13. Refrigerate them for a little longer - 15-30 min. This allows them to set and firm up. You can also enjoy the truffles immediately if you cant wait. ;-) Enjoy! // Tobais & Anita
